DC vs Marvel Part 2

Hey everyone, I'm here today to talk about the newest development in the battle between DC and Marvel.
OK, so in my last post I talked about DC Nation and in this post I'm going to talk about what Marvel is doing in response. DC used its connections with Warner Bros. to create DC Nation on Cartoon Network. Marvel used its connections with Disney to create Marvel Universe on Disney XD. During this hour block, Marvel is showing its new season of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and its brand new series Ultimate Spider-Man.

Here's my review for them:

Ultimate Spider-Man:

Recap:
SPOILERS_____________________________
This show take place one year after Peter Parker gets bitten by a radioactive spider. Spider-Man, voiced by Drake Bell, has got some experience now, but he's still a rookie and trying to figure out this whole hero business. Early into the first episode he's approached by Nick Furry, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., and offered training so that he can become a better hero. At first he turns it down, but after being attacked at his own school because he clumsily let a villain he was fighting get a tracker on him. After defeating the villains he agrees to train with S.H.E.I.L.D, but after he is assigned to a team of rookie heroes including Nova voiced by Logan Miller, Power Man voiced by Ogie Banks, Iron Fist voiced by Greg Cipes, and White Tiger voiced by Caitlyn Taylor Love, he decides to leave S.H.E.I.L.D. Shortly after leaving he is attacked by the villains that attacked him at his school earlier. He is saved however by the same heroes he left at S.H.I.E.L.D. After the battle Spider-Man realizes that he should joins the team and agrees to come back to S.H.I.E.L.D. as long as he can still do solo missions as Spider-Man. When he returns to school however he finds his new team mate have been enrolled at his school by S.H.I.E.L.D. At first Peter's mad, but eventually comes to the realization that this could be fun.

Review:
Ok, so I was a little skeptical at first when I found out Drake Bell was going to voice Spidey, but he's been doing a great job. The show is a lot goofier than I thought it was going to be.The show has made some pretty big updates to the classic lore of Spider-Man. The Daily Bugle has gone from a newspaper company to an Communication business that includes news. So now you have J. Jameson yelling about how the web head is a menace on a big screen in time square. Aunt May has also transformed from a shriveled old lady to a younger yoga-doing, protein-shake-making aunt. Peter doesn't seem as nerdy as he used to be. He's more dork than nerd. Overall it's a pretty good series. It's not the top of my watch list, but it's still on there.

For those of you that have been living under a rock, the Avengers is one of the best super hero teams of all time. Taking place in the Marvel Universe, the show stars Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Ant Man, Wasp, Hawkeye, the Black Panther, and the Hulk.

SPOILERS_____________________________
In the all new season the plot progresses with the Skrull invasion and introduces more heroes such as the Fantastic Four and Ms. Marvel, and The Vision who eventually get added to the team. Will Kaang's prediction about Captain America causing the world to end come true? Will the team survive? Tune in to find out.

Review:
This is easily Marvel's best TV show. It's a great success with a lot of potential. I love this show and I hope to see Marvel make more shows like this in the future.

And that's about all there is.
